I'm setting on the steps of the court house at the Warner Bros. lot for the "Eleventh Hour". I'm wearing my green Alfani cotton sports jacket, khakis, white shirt and a Thomas Wylde burgundy skull print silk scarf.
I think I’m going to buy Nicole a Happy Meal to celebrate her here in Austin! Here’s Nicole Atkin’s Newest video from the song “Girl You Look Amazing” off of Slow Phaser. Classic moments come with the disco lights in the rockin car with her palm against the window and then there’s the of eating spaghetti that is any woman’s greatest nightmare as a public spectical, all done to great humor!
On my way to Seattle and after leaving my friends in San Francisco I thought it would be novel and fabulous to spend a night in Portland to take in this magical city. There are similarities of Portland to Seattle but I…

This is my latest installment for the Los Angeles Beat. I had the pleasure to see this movie with some great folks at AFI Fest. Alejandro Jodorowsky is an extrodenary person who’s is uniquely charismatic and a monster creative. Alejandro Jodorowsky’s Dune is a must see doc that will entertain and enlighten!
I should mention my Dad was a piano player (more like Jerry Lee Lewis). Therefore I have a soft spot for piano players. Neil is the recipient of the Art Gilmore Career Achievement Award by The Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters at The Sportsman’s Lodge in Studio City. Harrison enjoyed the celebration of one of the most prolific song writers in Pop music. It was such a nice way to spend the afternoon!
My latest installment on AFI Fest is simpley an amazing story! It was another great night I spent with Alexandra Starlight and Zachary James for the AFI/Ascap Happy Hour at the Hard Rock Cafe last Saturday! Check it!
Check out this awesome article by my new friend Lisa Boyle in the Huffington Post and this amazing performance by Alexandra Starlight in an acoustic performance at the Hard Rock Cafe. Happily my photo was used and there’s video footage to give a feel for this truly unexpected moment. What a wondrous way to celebrate Veterans Day.
I caught Herblock: The Black & the White, this sleeper at the AFI FEST Presented by Audi at the TCL Chinese Theater (aka Grauman’s Chinese Theater). If you love the Jon Stewart, Lewis Black and The Daily Show you’ll want to read this blog and then see the film. It’s up now and it’s steaming hot! Lewis Black was hilarious when he said and I quote, “They call it the News cycle, but really its the information cycle… No, the Shit cycle on television!” It moments like this that makes all the shuffling, positioning and coaxing all worth while!
Check this out! Next Saturday November 9th there’s going to be a book launch and release party for a New Book of Miles Davis’ artwork at Mr.Music Head Gallery. The deets are up with my article on the LA Beat.
